Five People Behind Bars After Drug Bust

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)--Five people have landed behind bars after a drug bust in Shawnee County.

The Shawnee County Sheriff's Office, Topeka Police Dept., Kansas Dept. of Corrections, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives combined to execute two search warrants at 238 SE 35th Terr. and 3907 SE Fremont.

Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and multiple firearms were seized.

38-year-old Thomas C. Kent, 28-year-old Jose Leone Diaz, Jr., 31-year-old Linda K. Plemons, 31-year-old Rachel D. Hoag and 23-year-old Phillip G. McClellan were all booked into the Shawnee County Dept. of Corrections.

Kent was arrested on firearm and narcotic charges and was on State Parole at the time. Diaz was arrested on firearm and narcotic charges, Shawnee County Felony Warrant and a Geary County warrant. Plemons and Hoag were arrested on narcotic charges as was McClellan who was also arrested on a Shawnee County warrant.
