TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- Fort Hays State University has revealed the first of its five finalists to be the school's new president, and she won't have to travel far for her campus visit!
She is Dr. Tisa Mason, the current vice president for student affairs at Fort Hays State.
She's held the position since 2008.
The community is invited to to meet her at a reception at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the memorial union on campus.
The names of the other four finalists will be revealed the day before their visits March 27, April 1, April 7 and April10.
The school hopes to name its replacement for the retiring Edward Hammond by July 1.
