Investigators Looking For Person Who May Be Connected To Morning Fire

TOPEKA Kan. (WIBW) -- Shawnee County Dispatch told 13 News that fire investigators and police are trying to locate a male who may be connected to the fire at 1212 Southeast 36th Terrace around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Crews reported smoke coming through the front windows and flames coming out of the back of the home when they arrived.
Nobody was home at the time.

Topeka Fire Battalion Chief Todd Williams said most of the damage was contained in bedrooms at the rear of the home. Smoke and heat damage was present throughout the home.

WIBW Radio is reporting that an attempt to locate has now been issued for 40-year old Antwaun Jones.

They say police want to question him in regard to arson at that home and possibly a domestic dispute.
