(WIBW) - Fire crews were called to 801 S.E. Highland around 4:30 a.m. Thursday. First responders found smoke in the area with flames coming from the home. Fire officals determined that the home was vacant and unnoccupied, but officals said the home had just been purchased by a young couple who were in the process of moving in.
The fire was put out around 5:50 a.m. A fire investigator was called to the scene to determine the cause of the blaze.
