Emporia Man Faces Federal Firearm And Drug Charges

EMPORIA, Kan. (WIBW) - An Emporia man faces federal charges of possessing a firearm and drugs.

The charges stem from a search warrant that a drug task force executed in early November 2013 at 1325 road R in Lyon County.

Keenan Linneman was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Officials seized 32 pounds of marijuana valued at about $64,000, other drugs and 43 firearms.

A jury trial is set for May 6th. If convicted, Linneman faces 25 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
