EMPORIA, Kan. (WIBW/KVOE) - An Emporia man is behind bars, accused of stalking more than 20 women.
KVOE Radio reports 60-year-old Thomas Hebb is being held on 47 counts each of stalking and promoting obscenities.
The investigation began in late 2011, when victims began receiving letters of a pornographic nature. KVOE reports the KBI, Emporia Police and Lyon County deputies used video surveillance and handwriting samples to get a search a warrant.
Information obtained last week ultimately led to the search and authorities arrested Hebb Tuesday.
Formal charges were pending Wednesday.
