EMPORIA, Kan. (KVOE/WIBW) - Emporia Police said late Wednesday that they do not suspect foul play in the deaths of two people found in a home earlier in the night.

KVOE Radio reports that, right now, police are only calling it a double "unattended death." The two victims were found just before 5 pm Wednesday in a home near Peter Pan Park.

Sgt. Kevin Risley told 13 News the victims were an elderly couple, a male and female. He said the initial investigation shows no indication of foul play.

Risley says an autopsy should be conducted Thursday to determine cause of death. He says further information will be available once the coroner issues a report.
