Victim Pistol-Whipped, Robbed Overnight

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW-TV) -- Detectives are investigating a robbery where a person was pistol-whipped in Central Topeka Wednesday morning.

Shawnee County Dispatch told 13 News that around 2 a.m. Wednesday, a black male wearing a light blue shirt and armed with a handgun pistol whipped, then robbed another person.

Police say this happened at the Bentley Place Apartments near the 1300 block of SW Tyler.

The victim was looked at by emergency services but was not taken to the hospital.
