TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Downtown workers took steps toward better health today!

The Topeka High drum line led the way for the annual national Walk at Lunch Day festivities.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield hosted the event.

Its workers marched from their main office at 12th and Topeka to the Judicial Center for a rally with CEO Andy Corbin, Topeka Mayor Larry Wolgast and other downtown workers.

They all then headed out on a 30 minute walk.

Walk at Lunch Day is designed to show how fitness can fit into your daily schedule.
