TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)-- Authorities reopened I-70 through downtown Topeka following a Wednesday afternoon semi crash, although they still expect traffic to run slowly for a while.
The tractor-trailer crashed shortly before noon on the Polk-Quincy Viaduct and, coupled with ongoing construction in the area, forced police to shut down both east and westbound lanes until around 12:20 p.m.
The Kansas Dept. of Transportation warned that minor delays could still continue after the road reopened.
