Dogs Taking Center Stage In Capital City Classic

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Owners fetched dog brushes as the Capital City classic dog show continues today.

Nearly 1,400 dogs will complete each day at the show that started Thursday and runs through Monday at the Kansas Expocentre.

A spokeswoman for the event says these shows have drawn the best and well-known dogs from all over the U.S. and Canada.

The event includes specialty dog shows, all breed shows and obedience and rally trials.

The show returns August 20-24..
