Dogs Have A Paws-itive Time At Gage Park Event

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- Helping Hands Humane Society hosted a event for pet owners and their four legged friends Saturday afternoon.

Dogs of all shapes and sizes strolled through Paws in the Park with their owners at Gage Park for the Annual Helping Hands Humane Society fundraiser.

The event includes a one mile walk through Gage Park, silent auctions, bouncy houses for the kids and contests.

Guests told 13 News why they enjoy the event.

"I like when they do the dogs on the stage and do different types of costumes and mess with them on stage and things like that," said Mose Hugghis with K9 OTC.
