The Shawnee County Sheriff's Office hosted the Association Of Public Safety Communications Officials fall conference at the Ramada Hotel.
Dispatchers were able to network with colleagues and attend a variety of workshops specialized towards various telecommunication functions.
Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt was tonight's key-note speaker. He talked about how consumer's can better protect themselves.
The conference runs through Wednesday.
