Baby Found Dead In Topeka Home, Police Say

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A baby was found dead in a central Topeka home, police say. They added their were no signs of foul play in the infant's death, but their investigation is still ongoing.

They were called to the home in the 1800 block of SW Lincoln St. shortly before 9:00 a.m. Friday morning. The baby was rushed to a local hospital where the child was pronounced dead.

Officers are still there and plan on holding the scene until the coroner has a chance to weigh in.
