Violent Offender Caught After Seeking Treatment At Local Hospital

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The hunt for a violent offender is over. The Topeka Police Department says that 28 year-old Patrick Leon Bartley walked into a local hospital just after 11 p.m. Thursday night seeking medical treatment.

Someone recognized him and called area law enforcement. After being treated, Barley was arrested and booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections.

Several law enforcement agencies, including the FBI and US Marshals, joined the hunt for Bartley, the Topeka Police Dept. said on Thursday. He was wanted on multiple counts including rape, kidnapping, aggravated robbery, and aggravated battery.
