TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Crews were dispatched to the 4400 block of NE Seward Tuesday where a vehicle was found submerged in the Kansas River.
The white roof of a van could be seen along the surface of the water.
A dive team was called to investigate, which is often standard procedure when vehicles are found underwater. The vehicle was abandoned, and no bodies were discovered.
A truck with a large boom, typically used to tow semis was called to remove the vehicle from the water.
