HOUSTON, Tex. (KHOU)-- A collision between an 18-wheeler and a car left dozens of cases of beer strewn across a Houston freeway early Tuesday morning.
According to CBS affiliate KHOU, the accident happened at about 12:30 a.m. on the Katy Freeway. The 18-wheeler jackknifed, spilling dozens of cases of beer across the road's lanes.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was in serious condition, the station reported. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
KHOU reports that it took about five hours to clean up the mess.
Last month, a semi truck loaded with beer crashed in Indiana, spilling part of its load on Interstate 65 in Indiana.
