TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A pair on motorcycles hit each other Monday, crashing their rides at a busy Topeka intersection.
The husband and wife duo were riding east on 21st near Fairlawn around 10:15 a.m. when an apparent miscommunication led to a collision.
The wife didn't know the husband intended to turn at the intersection, according to police. As he turned his bike the two hit one another.
Police say the wife was transported to a local hospital after hitting her head. She was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
