TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka couple is accused of setting fire to their home nearly three years ago.
Shawnee District Court records show Brett Hedrick and Jammie Hedrick each face five counts, including arson to a dwelling, arson-damage property/building, presenting false claim, interference with law enforcement-false report and insurance fraud.
The State Fire Marshal's office tells 13 News the couple lived at 210 Southeast Rice Road when it was destroyed by fire in October of 2010. Investigators ruled the fire was intentionally set.
The Shawnee County Jail says the Hedricks were booked in Wednesday afternoon. They were free on bond Wednesday night.
They are due back in court June 6th.
