TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Those traveling through the intersection of northwest 46th and Rochester Road will be taking a detour for the next few months.
The intersection was closed today as crews began construction to convert the existing 4-way stop with a single lane roundabout.
During construction travelers will use highway 75, 24, and Topeka Boulevard to get around the area.
Local access is being provided to residential and business properties located adjacent to the project.
Work on the intersection is expected to be completed by November 14.
