Colorado Man Has Pleaded Guilty In A Lawrence Bank Robbery

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A Colorado man has pleaded guilty to a bank robbery in Lawrence.

Matthew Headley, 37, was convicted in the September 5, 2013 holdup at US Bank in Lawrence.

Headley admitted in his plea that he was wearing a golf hat and pajamas pants when he entered the bank and handed a teller a note saying, "hundreds and fifties now."

He was arrested a short time later at a convenience store not far from the bank. His sentencing is set for June 9th.
