Classic Cars Show Off Saturday Evening At Capital

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Car show enthusiasts have a chance to show off their hot rod this weekend when Downtown Topeka Inc hosts their second annual "Crusin' the Capitol" car show Saturday night from 5:00 to 8: p.m..

All makes and models are welcome and owners can register the day of the event starting at 4 p.m.

The show will be held around the newly renovated Kansas State Capital building. After the show, DTI and the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library will show American Graffiti starting at 8:30.

Half of the car show registration fees will be donated to Helping Hands Humane Society.
