TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Citizen Government Review Committee is comprised of 5 members, all recently appointed by the Mayor and the City Council. Their job? To review the government of the city and make suggestions as to what needs to be changed or amended.
The committee will issue a report that includes areas of concern and other related findings to the Topekan government, along with possible solutions and recommendations to alleviate the problems.
If you are interested in having your voice heard by the government, this committee is the right medium to share your concerns with. They will be holding two meetings for the public to attend on Thursday, February 20.
The first is at 1 p.m., and the second is later on in the evening at 7. They will both be in the Marvin Auditorium in the Shawnee County Public Library.
