Champion Charger Band Returns From Georgia
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Topeka West Band members returned home Tuesday after a trip to Atlanta, Georgia -- carrying some shiny new trophies.
The band went to Georgia to compete in several competitions and a parade. They came home with four trophies -- first in the division in jazz band and percussion ensemble, and grand champion for field show and parade.
The senior band members got the honor of carrying the trophies off the bus Tuesday.
