Car Crash Kills Marysville Teen

MARYSVILLE, Kan. (WIBW)-- A car accident south of Marysville has claimed the life of a teenage Valley Heights High School student.

Marshall County Sheriff Dan Hargrave says the department responded to a one vehicle accident just over a mile south of Marysville on U.S. 77.

The vehicle was heading north when it left the roadway and struck a tree on the west side of the highway.

17 year old Seth McKay, from Marysville, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Seth was a Junior at Valley Heights High School and leaves behind his parents Grant and Linda McKay and sister Bailey, a Senior at Valley Heights.
