TOPEKA, Kansas (WIBW) -- A pursuit in the early morning hours of Saturday landed officers with no arrests, but still searching for the vehicle.
At around 1:45 a.m. Saturday morning, officers attempted to stop a white Dodge Stratus around the 1200 block of Lane Street.
The driver led officers on a pursuit, with speeds at 60 miles per hour, which ended around 1st and Topeka Boulevard. Officers thought the Stratus may have been going into the Oakland area.
A couple hours later around 4 a.m., officers located a car in an alley at 1st and Quinton that matched the description. The car took off so quickly, officers lost it.
They weren't able to get a tag number on either of the cars spotted, as well as a suspect description.
Officers are still looking into locating the white Dodge Stratus, which is described as missing hubcaps.
