TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A smoldering pile of trash caused traffic problems near Topeka's Forbes Field Friday morning.
The burning waste was dumped from a garbage truck that was transporting the material.
Northbound lanes of Topeka Boulevard were closed at University Boulevard as crews extinguished the fire, and cleaned up debris.
A cause of the fire wasn't clear Friday morning.
