TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded the boil water advisory for Jefferson County Rural Water District #10 (Lakeshore Estates).

The boil water advisory was issued on Jan. 16 because of a loss of pressure in the water system due to a water main break. Laboratory testing on samples collected indicate no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that placed the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
