PAOLA, Kan. (AP/KCTV) -- Rescuers have found the body of a man who apparently drowned at Hillsdale Lake while boating with his children.

Authorities say the man, identified as Mark Selbee, went into the lake from a boat on Saturday and didn't resurface. His body was recovered Sunday evening in about 20 feet of water.

Selbee grew up in Topeka, won four championships with the International Kickboxing Federation between 2002 and 2006, when he retired from competition.

Authorities say it is unclear why Selbee went into the water. An autopsy will determine exact cause of death and someone who saw two young children alone on the boat called for help. Both children were wearing life jackets.

Between 30 and 35 rescuers and divers from 10 different agencies took part in the search.

A celebration of Selbee's life is scheduled for 11 a.m. to noon Friday at United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood.
