Body Found In Wichita Radio Station Basement

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -- Detectives are investigating a homicide at a Wichita radio station.

Around 8 a.m. Monday, an employee of the Mid America Ag Network discovered a body in the basement of a building at 1632 S. Maize. Several radio stations operate at that location as part of Steckline Communications.

Police confirm this is a homicide investigation. Investigators say the victim is a man who died from blunt force trauma. Police say there are no signs of a break-in.

Company owner Greg Steckline confirmed that the victim is an employee who had worked there for about two years. Police have not yet released the man's identity.
