MAIZE, Kan. — The body found in a car earlier this week in Maize has been identified.
The body was found Monday morning in a car outside an apartment complex in Maize. The car was registered to a man who had been reported missing since February, and police say it had been there for months.
According to Maize Police Chief Matt Jensby, the body was positively identified Friday as 54-year-old Adam Sabri of Wichita. He was last seen on February 9 at Timeout Sports Bar and Grill, a restaurant he co-owns in McPherson.
An autopsy was performed Tuesday, but a cause of death was inconclusive due to the condition of the body. Toxicology results could take four to six months to come back.
Sabri's death is still classified as suspicious.
