TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Those still unsure about the health care overhaul had the opportunity to attend an educational town hall meeting Thursday night.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas hosted their last of 14 town hall meetings Thursday night at their Topeka headquarters.
The meeting provided information for those who are shopping for insurance, and allowed for a question and answer session.
"Probably one of the biggest misconceptions that we've seen and been able to address is that people who are medicare eligible and who have medicare and a medicare supplemental plan think that this somehow is going to change their benefits or their plan, and that's not true at all," said Corporate Spokesperson Mary Beth Chambers.
