BBBS Volunteers Honored Thursday

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Volunteers and donors who support Big Brothers Big Sisters were honored at an event Thursday evening.

The organization hosted a volunteer appreciation party at the Governor's Row House.

WIBW's own Eric Ives won the award fr Big Brother of the year in the school-based program. Kim Ribelin won for school-based Big Sister of the Year.

Brad Noble was honored as the Big Brother for the community based program and Ginger Park won for Big Sister in the community-based program.

Jeff and Angie Byrd were also recognized as the Big Couple of the Year.

Congratulations to all of the winners!
