Authorities Release Enforcement Numbers From Country Stampede

WESTMORELAND, Kan. (WIBW) - The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office issued more than 160 minor in possession citations at this year's Country Stampede.

The agency released enforcement numbers Friday from the four-day music festival that took place in late June at Tuttle Creek State Park near Manhattan.

Other offenses cited included:
1 driving under the influence
15 transporting an open container
13 obstruction
2 battery violations
1 battery of a law enforcement officer
1 resisting arrest
1 furnishing alcohol to a minor

The figures represent the joint efforts of the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office, the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, and the Riley County Police Department.
