Rain heavy at times will move across northeast Kansas this afternoon and tonight that could lead to flooding. Severe storms are also possible through this evening with 60 mph wind gusts and hail up to the size of quarters.
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Authorities took three people into custody, accused of breaking into a home north of Topeka Monday morning.
The Shawnee County Sheriffs Office was called just after 9:15 am to the 3300 block of NW 34th St. for an aggravated burglary.
Authorities say three people fled the scene. Deputies caught them a short time later.
The Sheriff's Office says one of the suspects was taken to the hospital for treatment of a previous medical condition.
Their investigation continues.
