TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Topeka police busted an underaged drinking party, where alcohol was being served.
Police say they arrived around 1:00 a.m. at 1150 S.W. Kent Place to a noisy party, after getting a complaint about a loud truck, driving in the area. Officers say they found about 40 underaged people were drinking.
Eight people between the ages of 18 and 20 were cited for minor in consumption. Three were cited for minor in consumption under the age of 18. Two drunk pedestrian in the roadway tickets were written. Police say there was one felony warrant arrest.
They also say one person was transported to the hospital for alcohol overdose concerns and another was transported for ingestion of an unknown synthetic drug.
The homeowner was cited for social hosting.
Police say parents were contacted to pick up their kids.
