TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)--Cockroaches are plaguing area restaurants.
Inspections by the Kansas Department of Agriculture report about three-percent of restaurants in Shawnee County have had a roach problem in the last year according to the Capital Journal.
Bobo's Drive-In on SW 10th had live and dead roaches on site during its latest inspection.
The owner said battling the critters as a continuous problem.
Sweet Pea's also has been battling roaches since it moved into its South Kansas Avenue location in June 2010. Sakura Restaurant of Japan has also had roaches.
The newspaper also reports the district manager of the Topeka-based Schendel Pest Service says no one is immune to having pests.
