Area Students Chip In To Help Build A Special Home

Topeka area students chipped in their time and sweat to help build a home.

Topeka Lutheran School students and staff volunteered to pitch in on a Habit House at 1717 southwest Sieben.

The hard work began in March on Topeka's largest Habit home to date. While countless volunteers are excited for the Mungunga family to officially call it home in September, they also enjoy seeing the community come together.

WIBW is partnering with Habitat, Thrivent Financial and nearly two-dozen other community partners to build the home for a family of eight.
