TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Area children could "chill out" on the town Friday night.
Children living in Topeka Housing Authority units gathered at the Kansas Expocentre for a little bit of fun -- and some pizza -- before Friday's RoadRunners hockey game.
It was part of the 20/30 club's kid's hockey fun night. Face painting and hair coloring also were part of the fun.
Members of the Topeka Police and Fire Departments, as well as the Topeka High drum line, made special appearances tonight.
