TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)__ The Arab Shrine Center hosted a players recognition banquet for the high school athletes selected to play in the 41st Annual Kansas Shrine Bowl.
The banquet was hosted by 13's own Justin Surrency. This year's Shrine Bowl will be Saturday July 26th at Pittsburg State University.
This year the East Squad will look to start a winning streak having won for the first time in seven years in 2013.
All proceeds from one of highest regarded games in the nation goes to the 22 Shrines hospitals.
Nine-players from the area are scheduled to participate in the game.
