(WIBW) - A discrimination lawsuit filed by a former Kansas State University employee will be going to trial after all.
Edwin Asebedo worked in the university's central mail services department. He claims his supervisor and other employees used racial slurs and made derogatory remarks about him.
On Monday, the 10th U.S Circuit Court of Appeals reversed a decision made last year to drop the case.
A second claim of retaliation was dismissed. The judges decided facts of that case did not establish a connection between his complaints and their actions.
