TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - An incident Thursday night left a man with a stab wound and sent a suspect to the hospital.
Topeka Police were called around 7 pm to an altercation at 509 SW Taylor St.
Lt. Ron Gish says a man and woman, both 27-years-old, arrived at the home of a 49-year-old man who they knew. The younger man complained of a medical problem and, when the older man tried to help, the suspect stabbed him with a knife.
Gish says the victim was treated at the scene for his injury, while the suspect was taken to the hospital complaining of chest pains.
The woman was taken to the Law Enforcement Center for questioning.
The names of those involved were not released Thursday night.
