TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A trial for a Topeka man charged with murdering his mother has been delayed again.
The trial for Jason Hachmeister, which was scheduled to begin in August, has now been pushed back to January 12, 2015. A pretrial hearing was set for October 27, 1014.
Hachmeister is charged with the premeditated first degree murder of his mother, Sheila Hachmeister, at their home in September 2011. He has pleaded not guilty.
In a separate case, Hachmeister was sentenced to more than seven years for sexually exploiting children.
