TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A Topeka will spend more than seven years behind bars for sexually exploiting children. On Friday, Jason Hachmeister was sentenced to 86 months in jail - the maximum sentence permitted by law.
Last December, Hachmeister was convicted of 105 counts of sexual exploitation of children, all of which were level 5 felonies.
Once he gets out, he'll also face a lifetime of post-release supervision and he'll have to register as an offender.
Hachmeister is also charged with murdering his mother. His trial in that case is scheduled for August.
