TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Emergency crews are on the scene right now at highway 24 and Landon road, just west of highway 75.
Crews were called at 4:15 p.m. to the two vehicle accident.
Officials tell 13 News a male driver was heading west on highway 24 and attempted to pass a vehicle in a no passing zone.
The driver saw an oncoming vehicle, went into a ditch and rolled into a utility pole. The cab detached from the frame.
The driver's injuries are unknown. Officials say he was wearing his seatbelt.
