A name change could be in the works for the Mid-Continent Airport in Wichita.
Wichita City Council members agreed last night to create an advisory committee to study renaming the city's airport after President Dwight D. Eisenhower , who grew up in Abilene.
City Director Victor White says the name change could cost more than $700,000.
Members of the committee will be appointed in the next few weeks. No timetable is set for the group to make a recommendation to the council.
