A Topeka doctor has been arrested and has her license temporarily suspended.
Doctor Diana Carver was booked into the Shawnee County Jail Friday evening.
Earlier Friday an emergency suspension was put into place for Doctor Carver for alleged mis-treatment of at least three patients.
The allegations involve prescribing, dispensing, administering or distributing a prescription drug or substance excessively, improperly, or an inappropriate matter.
Also cited are alleged violations of treatment of obesity with controlled substances.
The suspension will remain in place until a hearing is held to determine if the suspension should continue.
