Kansas City, Missouri police are investigating a 20 year-old woman who allegedly tried to flush her newborn son down a toilet at a McDonald's restaurant.

Both the baby and the mother, who works at the McDonald's,
are at the hospital being treated after the incident yesterday
afternoon.

Capt. Rich Lockhart said workers became concerned after the
woman didn't return from the restroom. The workers quickly called
paramedics after checking on her. Lockhart said the woman told paramedics that she tried to flush the baby down the toilet several times. He said the child was still in the toilet and wasn't breathing when paramedics arrived. They administered CPR on the child and rushed him and the mother to the hospital.

Police said the newborn is expected to survive. The mother hasn't been charged. An investigation continues.

Yet another mom that does not deserve to have children she attempted to murder her child, but didn't get it done I pray that she gets life in prison without parole as well and if not she will pay in hell one day for how she made that baby suffer. I just have no faith what so ever in our judicial system she will more than likely get a slap on the hand just like most the other so called moms do when they murder their child by leaving them in a car, dropping them, or anything else just pray that justice will be served for this newborn baby!!!!!

I know I moved off topic, but it's time America takes a stand and stop letting people kill babies, unborn and born. All life is precious. Wake up AMERICA. No wonder the world is the way it is. The floods, tornados, fires, killings, and so on.

What about Dr. George Tiller. He kills babies all the time? That's no different. All life is sacred the unborn and the born. He will pay someday for his crime, if he doesn't change his ways, hell is a bad price to pay. Eternal FLAMES...

Kids are going to have sex. Kids are going to get pregnant. If they have strong relationships with their families and feel like they can go to them for help, these kids wont be trying to kill their babies. Giving kids condoms doesn't mean they are going to have sex...they are going to have sex regardless.

I agree values and morals start at home, however part of the reason they have taken to handing out condoms at prom is because they don't want these young girls becoming pregnant and flushing their babies down the toliet. I would rather hand out 100 condoms in a day then have a yound lady who clearly can function get pregnant, because when they do you have these kinds of problems. I would also say this young lady went about things the wrong way and that she serve jail time. I can not believe she would do such a thing. My statement is this has nothing to do with condom being handed out at proms, maybe if she had been give one we won't be reading this story right now.

When we have school systems handing out condoms at proms and other school functions and no morals being taught at home, and the fact that parents ARE NOT doing their jobs as parents...this crap will continue happening. No one takes responsibilities for their actions anymore in regards to this troubled girl. She knew the consequences when she was having relations and took the easy way out by trying to kill the poor child. Kids having kids and no sense of morality, responsibility or human decency. I hope this young girl gets a long, long life term in a hell-hole prison to think about what her consequences and repercussions are going to be in regards to her dispicable actions.

There are many documented cases of mentaly challenged girls not knowing they were pregnant. We don't know the whole story here yet. She needs help indeed!! Should it be crimminaly? Most likely but we haven't been told the whole story yet.

I agree that woman should be charged as soon as possible. i think someone should try to flush her down the toilet. thats just crazy... people like that make me sick. if you didnt want the baby then give it up for adoption or keep your freaking legs closed.

Just when you think you have heard it all you hear this! What is happening in the world!?!?! You didn't hear about this crap back in the 50's or 60's. The world and the PEOPLE are becoming more scary each day. I feel sooo bad for the baby, hopefully no permanent damage was done to him. I really hope that this 'mother' never gets to see the baby again and hopefully justice will come out of this and she will spend time in prison.

She needs to be prosecuted to the fullest!! I was pregnant at 17 yrs. old with my first, and yes I knew!! But this crazy psycho tried to drown the innocent child several times, she even admitted to it!! PROSECUTE HER, or possibly drown her!! Sounds to me like it will happen again if she is let off the hook. Take her insides out so this can't "ACCIDENTLY" HAPPEN AGAIN!! SHE IS CLEARLY NOT MOTHER MATERIAL!!!

How in the world do you not know that you're pregnant???!!!!! The Topeka Capitol article said that she was 32 weeks along. That's attempted murder!!!! Praise the Lord that the paramedics got there in time to save the baby. What are they waiting on before pressing charges?? What investigation?? SHE TRIED DROWNING HER NEWBORN....PLAIN AND SIMPLE!! *grrrrrrrrrrr* What other evidence do they need?? I'm leaving this post before I say anymore and let my blood pressure come down.
