Topeka (WIBW) - A man accused of holding a Dover couple hostage in their home will not have his trial moved.
A Shawnee County judge on Tuesday denied 23-year old Jesse Dimmick's request for a change of venue. He faces two counts of kidnapping and one count of theft.
Dimmick was wanted in Colorado last September when he led authorities on a chase, got away, then turned up the next morning at Lindsay and Jared Rowley's home.
Dimmick was shot by police after they got out safely. His trial is set to begin Monday, May 17.
