Right now the Atchison County Sheriff's Department is searching the Kimmi Lumber and Sawmill. That's a business owned by Patricia Kimmi's ex-husband, Eugene.
Attorney Jerry Kuckelman interviewed two persons of interest yesterday and obtained a search warrant for that property early this morning.
Authorities told us Mr. Kimmi was present during the search and cooperated with deputies.
Authorities say investigators did seize items from the property, but they would not reveal any details.
Atchison County officials starting around 9:30 this morning and spent about three hours searching the property.
Reports say Pat and Eugene Kimmi had a bad divorce, but when we spoke with their daughter Rita today, she did not seem concerned about today's search.
Patricia Kimmi, 58, disappeared from her rural home near Horton last November.
